Expansion modules
The D2-260 and D2-250-1 CPUs support local expansion. The D2-260 supports local expansion up to five total bases (one CPU plus four expansion bases) and the D2-250-1 supports local expansion up to three total bases (one CPU bases plus two expansion bases). Following are the modules required for expansion:

expansion moduleD2-CM [$Call] - The D2-CM expansion base controller module is placed in the CPU slot of each expansion base. The module includes a rotary switch for selecting the expansion base number, as well as PWR, RUN and DIAG LEDs for system status indication.

expansion moduleD2-EM [$Call] - The D2-EM expansion module attaches to the right side of each base in the expansion system. It comes with two RJ-45 cable ports for expansion cables to plug into, a single ACTIVE LED for system status indication, and a TERM toggle switch for last and first base termination.
Expansion accessories
- D2-EXCBL-1 [$Call] - The D2-EXCBL-1 expansion cable is used to connect D2-EM expansion modules together. The cable is 1 meter in length.
- D2-BASECVR [$Call] - The D2-BASECVR are base covers for expansion connectors. They come in packages of three.
